Whistle-top Cairo & Luxor with road transfer to Hurghada
We had used Ahmed before in 2011 (Jolleys Travel) to organise a tour of Cairo for us and was pleasantly pleased that we could track him down to now working at Oceanus Tours. This time I reached out to Ahmed by email whilst in the UK to organise drivers for us in both Cairo and Luxor. As before the communication was excellent and the transfers were seamless. Our driver in Cairo was particularly friendly, spoke very good English and even stopped to buy us some refreshments. Great experience - would book again.
We had a great experience with Oceanus. The trip included a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, the valley of the Kings, and the temple of Hatsheput on the first day, and the Karnak temple and Luxor temple on the second day. We also went to a factory for alabaster from which we were able to snag a few, genuine, and lovely pieces at a good price. The company were also able to book our hot air balloon ride which was great and it meant that we did not have to mess about with yet another thing. The guide - Ahmed, was great. He was very friendly and a knowledgable Egyptologist. He took us to areas of the temples that were more quiet which was great for those photo opps! We also had the chance to go to some local food places which was incredible, as well as we were recommended some good places by Ahmed. The cars that we were driven in were some of the best we have used in Egypt - they actually had AC! The only downfall was that communication when booking was on the poorer side regarding times for pick up, etc. Overall, me and my partner had a great experience with this company and trip, and we would definitely used them again.

Wonderful trip
I had an amazing experience with Oceanus Tours and Travel during my trip to Egypt. We started in Cairo, where everything was perfectly organized: airport pickup, hotel check-in, and our visits to the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo. Our guide in Cairo was very knowledgeable, friendly, and always on time. After Cairo, we took a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor arranged by Oceanus. The boat was clean and comfortable, the food was very good, and the staff were always helpful. We visited Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu Temple, and the East and West Bank in Luxor. Our guide on the cruise explained the history in a simple and interesting way and helped us with any questions. Oceanus handled all the details: transport, tickets, check-ins and timing, so we could just relax and enjoy our holiday. I really recommend Oceanus Tours and Travel for anyone planning a trip to Cairo and a Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor.
